Today we are unveiling something we have been working on for a while now and are excited to finally share. We’ve completely revamped our web application from the ground up on a solid foundation that will support us through the next chapter of our story.
Campaign Search
You can finally search for campaigns right from tonicpow.com. Not much needs to be said about how obviously important this is, and makes the experience from a promoter perspective so much better.
URL Shortener Integrated
The new campaign search bar doubles as a URL shortener. Just paste in a url and get a https://tpow.app shortlink. We’ve previously written about the shortlink creator. All the same things apply, we’ve just integrated it directly into our main application.
Login With Bitcoin
You can now log in with Handcash, Moneybutton, or Relay wallet in addition to Twitter, Starfish and of course a regular old email address.
Verified Domains
One of the kinds of campaigns we’ve seen are referral links to other platforms, products or services. While we think this is a fine use for TonicPow if it makes sense for you, it’s important that promoters are aware of what they are sharing. This is one of the reasons we’ve added the ability to link a domain name to your account, allowing you to post verified ads when your campaign matches the target URL. This will allow promoters to filter campaigns by domain verification status if they so choose.
Challenges, Achievements & Experience Points
We have started a new journey toward a gamified experience. Users will earn experience points for completing challenges, which in turn increases their level and unlocks new functionality. In the future, this system will be expanded to include more challenges, some of which can boost your BSV earnings or give other rewards.
Improved Earnings Statistics
We’ve added a lot more information to the earnings statistics including a list of the short links you’ve created.
More Documentation and Guides
It is a big priority for us that TonicPow is straightforward and easy to use. This is why we’ve written several getting started guides, added UI hints, and made it easier than ever to reach out for help if you have a problem.
Image Management Overhaul
It’s important that your campaign images look the way you expect them to. We’ve added a full image manager so you can set specific images for each image dimension, re-use your original images account-wide, and easily make banners for each widget size.
New Campaign Settings
You can now choose whether a campaign allows anyone to contribute more funds to the available reward pool. This was always on in the previous site. Now it’s up to the campaign creator.
You can now choose a custom slug for your campaign. This will make your campaign available at tonicpow.com/your-custom-slug
You can also require that a promoter have a specific account linked in order to share your campaign.
Goal Manager
As we start to focus more on conversion goals (challenges) we have now included a more detailed editor for managing campaign goals.
API Integration
You can now create an application directly from the dashboard. This allows you to generate yourself keys for integrating with the TonicPow API, and specify a webhook URL where we can notify you of events. Applications are created on the Advertiser profile level, meaning you can have different apps associated with different advertiser profiles. More information is available in the developer guides.
Widgets!
We’ve finally integrated our display widget with the campaign catalog. Website owners can create a widget from the dashboard to get a code snippet for adding a widget to your site.
PayPresto Integration
When you’re contributing to a campaign, we will use any linked wallets whenever possible… but for guests or unauthenticated users, or anyone who hasn’t linked a wallet we use paypresto to allow for several convenient deposit methods.
